It's Update Time

Alright ladies and gents (yes, there are a few gents), I am going to take a little break from the "Blog Journal" entry questions to update you.

♥Adoption- We finished our second and third training classes this week...so one more to go!! WOOHOO! Then we schedule our home visit. We have met some amazing couples through our adoption classes and I feel so thankful to have other men and women who can relate to what we are going through. We have all exchanged info and have agreed to support one another as a group during this journey.

We are in the process of writing our "dear birth mom" letter. Only we are going to address it "dear friend" because we truly want to form a friendship with the women who picks us, and we want her to be well taken care of. To us she is a person, not a means by which we get something we want.
Our portfolio is coming along nicely. I only have a couple more things to add and then we are done! I'll be sure to share with you the finished product. It's looking pretty spiffy!

♥Work-Remember the sign drama? Well, my boss made Amy do the sign this week. HAHAHAHA! I guess what goes around comes around, right? Is it cruel of me to get a little pleasure out of this? Maybe...but I feel it is slightly justified.

♥New followers- WELCOME! Thank you for jumping on board. I hope you enjoy the ride. I really appreciate you joining in so feel free to comment and let me know what you think!

Well, that is all for now! I will probably be visiting your lovely blogs throughout the day and leaving comments when I have the chance.

This is such an exciting part of the process. I think I cried through the whole compliation of our portfolio, especially the Dear Birthmother letter. It was so overwhelming and so monumental. And thinking that someone would read it and chose us to raise and love their child...it still makes me a little teary-eyed.

it's a good news. I am glad that the adoption process is going pretty well. You'll always be in my prayers. I like the idea of "Dear friend" instead of "Dear birth Mom".

I am glad you took a break with the Sign this week, you deserve the break.

I am so happy the adoption is going well! I think of you often and can't wait to see you with your bundle of joy. ♥

I'm not sure if you can get to my blog, but google managed to screw me over a bit and is not rerouting me so no one is getting my updates. ; (

It looks like my followers will have to refollow at this link. www.labellevie-j.com, and if you can change your link on your 'blogs I follow' to my new one I would be eternally grateful!! I've missed blogging, but since no one could find me I took a bit of a break. Thank you so much for all our support!! You were my first follower who I met on blogger and it means a great deal to me. ♥
