Update...

Well, one of the birth mothers decided to parent her baby. So that option is out. We do still have another lady looking at our portfolio but we are skeptical because she has been looking for 3 weeks now, which seems sort of lengthy.

I'm not going to lie, I was bummed when I got the news. But if the birth mom was having doubts then I am glad she decided to keep her baby. I just wish we could have the blessing of a child.

I got my shake on for a little "desert therapy"...

Mmmmm, the McDonald's Shamrock, my weakness. I just love it! I am not normally a huge fan of the Golden Arches but I will certainly make an exception for this!

Hang in there, it'll happen. And you're right, if she was having doubts now it just wouldn't work out.

It'll happen and it will be perfect.

Happy thoughts to you <3

Aw, I'm sorry about this. It's gonna happen for you! I guess it just wasn't meant to be at this point!

Shamrock shake? I must try this!

And I love your new blog layout!

God is working for the best for you. Maybe he is just looking for the best baby for a best mom like you.

I know how much waiting sucks. Believe me I understand completely.I am constantly praying for you and I really wish this was easier. I'm glad however that so many adoptive parents are at least in this together. It makes the waiting a little less lonely.

Just catching up. I know I keep saying that. Ha! Maybe one of these days I'll read blogs the day the posts are written.

As someone who has been where you are until just recently, I know how hard it can be to not be chosen. But, being on the other side of things now, I'll just say keep the faith. The perfect baby for you and your husband will come to you. When you hold him or her in your arms, you will know it was worth all the heartbreak to get to that point. It doesn't make the heartbreak less, it just makes that moment more than you could ever imagined.
Will continue to pray for you two and the baby who is meant to be yours.
Big hugs my friend!
