The social worker canceled on us again! This time last minute do to a family emergency.
I’m feeling discouraged.
I can’t even manage to call her back because although I know it’s not her fault I can’t help but feel let down. Plus I have no idea when within the next 2 weeks we will be able to coordinate our schedules.
I apologize that I am not my normal upbeat self in this post…but a gals gotta vent…

oh, i just commented a "goodluck" on your previous post. i'm so sorry to hear that. i know how excited you are about this meeting but don't lose hope, ok? coz everything's gonna be fine. you'll have another meeting with them soon.
Oh Rachel...I am so sorry! This just stinks! What's up with social workers having family emergencies?? Ours had one a couple weeks ago and then we ended up being assigned to another worker. Ugh! I want to scream, "Come on already!!! Let's get this going!!"

Oh no, I am so sorry Rachel! I know this process can be hard but it sucks that you have to already be hitting road blocks. In the end though you will have our baby and be the happiest mamma! I'll keep you in my prayers!
