Part of the Family!

I think most kid-less couples will agree, pets become our children. I know that is most certainly the case with our little guy!

I’d like to introduce you to our dog Olive. He was named Olive because as a pup he was round and dark, just like a black olive!

Isn’t he the most adorable thing on the planet?!? (or perhaps I’m slightly bias…)

At the time we took him home he was a mere 2 pounds…the runt of his litter.

The gals at the rescue shelter doubted he’d even reach 10 pounds.

But today we are VERY proud parents of an 18 pound Olive!

He is so strong and healthy!

What a blessing this lil dude has been for us. He has such a facetious personality…he provides so many laughs. We love him dearly.

Do any of you have pets that are like family?

PS- For those wondering Olive is a "Bospin" which is a Miniature Pinscher and Boston Terrier mix.

Olive is cute. I have a dog before named "Kikay". However he died because of a virus like what had happened to all his siblings, they inherited it from their parents. I cried and so sad when she died. Since then I never had another dog because I was afraid of loosing them again!

Even with two children, my cat and dog are family. They are my fur babies and my flesh babies are well aware of that!

Olive is gorgeous! Before I had kids, all of my kitties were my family - they still are, but to a lesser degree now that I have children to take care of. My Foxy cat sleeps with me every night.
