Faithful Fashionista???

First of all, I hope all of my mommy followers had a fantastic Mothers Day! I spoiled my mom quite a lot for her special day. I am looking forward to next year when I quite possibly could be a mother myself!

As I mentioned on my previous post, I am considering a name change for my blog. I do love Faithful Fashionista…but I have grown increasingly frustrated with the fashion industry.

It got me wondering, am I really a fashioinista?

Yes, I adore clothing, jewelry, shoes, and all things fashion BUT I look at it as an artful way of expressing myself. I don’t look at it as something I must follow to a tee…jumping on the latest trends and subjecting myself to a size 0 air brushed standard.

I have my own unique style. I’ve always been able to put together a distinctive look.

As a "youngster" I had a borderline hippie/bohemian chic style. And even though my look has morphed into something more sophisticated I still prefer shopping at vintage second hand stores and local boutiques to huge fashion retailers.

I feel like my blog is so much more then fashion. I'd like the title to reflect my personal charecter.

I realize I am rambling…

What I’d really like to do with this post is take a little vote from my readers. What do you gals think? Should I change the name of my blog?

PS- I am doing pretty well on my quest to wear less makeup! More of an update on that to come!

I do like the name Faithful Fashionista. But I can understand why you’d want to change it. You are empowering women to look beyond what the media sells. I’d say change it! You are creative and you’ll think of something great.

I like the name, but if you are not feeling it, go ahead and change it. It will be much harder to make this change later.

It took me a long time to find a "voice" for my blog.

First of all....I have been away too long. I have 8 of your posts in google reader to catch up on. Just working on adoption stuff.

I think it's a fun and catchy name, but I understand the need to change. I too have been thinking about changing my name. I want something a little different. Just not sure what that is yet.

Good luck with a change if you decide to go that way. :)
