What Can I Say? I Love My Job!!!
So I went to town picking the perfect dress, earrings, etc…
She proceeded to tell me that she has waltzed with Jonathon (a pro) from DWTS. Ah!!!!
Plus, later that day my mom came in and I was able to style her for a couple weddings….she looked positively adorable in everything I picked! My little mamma is cute as can be.

DWTS...it's been awhile.
It was brought to my attention that it has been a while since I’ve posted about my favorite show…Dancing with the Stars!
Not to worry friends, I have still been glued to my TV Monday and Tuesdays at 7 pm. It’s rather pathetic really. About a half hour before it comes on I start humming the intro song as I get my snack ready.
The Hubster probably thinks I’m insane.
My thoughts on last night’s performances…
Pam- She has the most beautiful lines and I truly enjoy how she gets into her character. However her dancing seems a little slow at times…so her technique suffers. But I do like her, and I hope she is safe tonight.
Niecy- Ok. I will admit, Niecy is not the best dancer out there. But she is not bad either. The girl is right; she CAN shake a tail feather. She also manages to have me belly laughing during her pre-dance segments. I find her so fresh and so funny that my votes have gone to her.
Nicole- I have said on this blog before that I am not a fan of stars that have made a living dancing being asked to compete with others who have never danced a day in their life. Do I love to watch Nicole dance? Of course, she is fantastic! But it’s not fair.
Erin- The girl can move. She and Maks make a nice dance couple. But does anyone else find her a bit annoying? I have to believe that she is a fairly intelligent individual having been a reporter for several years. Yet she plays this whinny ditz card which dumbs her down and makes her look foolish. I’m kindda getting sick of her whole spiel. But maybe her antiques will settle down now that the competition progressing.
Evan- He and Anna have put together some amazingly entertaining performances. I thought that their dance was the best last night. I have consistently enjoyed watching them and I truly hope they are in the finials!
Chad- I really like he and Cheryl. What I see in them is constant improvement. She is teaching him something new every week. And being that Chad is completely out of his comfort zone I think he is doing a fabulous job. I hope they stick around!
Now it’s your turn ladies! What did you think of last night’s performances? Feel free to agree or disagree with me, I love hearing your thoughts!

DWTS week 3 Elimination
I tried to give her a chance, really, I did! There is just no dancing going on when she takes the floor. I totally agree with the judges…it looks pedestrian.

Quick Update
On a happier note…guess what I’m doing right now? Watching Dancing with the Stars of course! I will be sure to blog about this week’s dancing soon.

Veggie Tales & DWTS...what a combo!
I couldn't believe the cuteness that my eyes be held at the candy store...
VEGGIE TALES EASTER TREATS!!!!
Oh. my. word. Are these things not adorable?!? If these were mine I don't know if I'd ever open them! Well, the chocolate ones I would probably open. I hope my nephews like them as much as I do.
And now a follow up to my last post about DWTS...
What did you all think of Shannen getting eliminated? I was a little surprised, but then again no elimination truly shocks me. I always figure that anything is possible.
We all seem to be on the same page as far as stars with prior dancing experience go. And Kate Gosslin seems to annoy us all with her antics. I wonder what kind of drama she will bring next week...
Well, that is all for this post ladies. Have a fabulous day!

Last Night on Dancing with the Stars
My first thought after watching Dancing with the Stars last night was the distinct advantage stars with previous dancing experience truly do have.
Nicole Scherzinger who has made a living from dancing and singing had an amazing performance. And while I applaud her, I have to wonder if it is slightly unfair she is even competing? I felt the same way with Mya last season. I’m not trying to take away from the obvious abilities these ladies have, but they are competing against stars like Niecy Nash who has absolutely no dancing experience.
You may ask if I feel the same way about figure skaters, gymnasts, and Olympians competing. I do not, and here is why. Yes, they have training experience in an art that is similar to dancing. But it is not dancing. When you have been trained specifically as a dancer I feel that is simply too much of an advantage over someone who has never danced a day in their life.
How do you ladies feel about stars with prior dancing experience competing on DWTS? Am I alone in my thoughts on this subject?
Another thing that I have to point out about last night is…Kate Gosslin. YIKES!!! If you watched it, you know what I'm talking about. What was her problem?? She is sooooooo mean! I felt terrible for Tony who was trying to stay as professional as possible but was pushed to his limit. I seriously dislike this woman. Before I tried to keep an open mind about her but now the verdict is in, she is a BRAT!
I don't like to predict eliminations because you can never tell what the audience at home might be thinking. I can only voice what I thought, and hope that the stars I don't care for get the boot sooner than later.

Dancing with the Stars season premier!
Here is a rundown of how each of the contestants scored and my opinions on them…

Buzz Aldrin- 14
How amazing is he?!? 80 years old and moves so well! I give him tons of credit for doing this.
Chad Ochocinco- 18
He was my personal favorite of the night. The man can move. And with Cheryl choreographing for him I think he will go far.
Erin Anderews- 21
She is a good dancer. Maks is her partner, and they are undoubtedly a good looking dance pair. They will most likely advance in this competition.

No big surprise here…we figure skaters have moves! Ok, maybe I am a little biased with that former statement because of my past in figure skating. Honestly though, he definitely has fluidity and grace the other male competitors don’t yet have. I’m sure he’ll go far.
Jake Pavelka- 20
I thought the natural rise and fall that is supposed to occur in a Viennese Waltz was extremely choppy. I’m not sure if he has what it takes. But Chelsea is a great partner; she seems to always bring out the best in her partners. We’ll see what they give us next week.

Nicole Scherzinger- 25
She wowed the crowd and the judges! It doesn’t surprise me though; she has dancing in her background. I’m not sure how I feel about semi-pro dancing stars competing with other stars that have no experience whatsoever.
Niecy Nash- 18
Oh my, she is a doll! What an entertaining women! I like her personality so much and for that I hope she can advance in the competition. But I think she will need to focus a little more on perfecting her steps for that to happen.
Pamela Anderson- 21
First of all, I am still slightly shocked Pam Anderson is a contestant on DWTS. But I decided to watch her with an open mind. And you know what? She did really well. I didn’t care for the over the top hair flips, but the women’s got moves. I think she could surprise us.
Shannen Doherty- 18
I thought it was so sweet that she was dancing for her father. And the dance actually went better then what I expected based on rehearsal. I wonder what she’ll bring in the weeks ahead with less practice time? Her partner Mark Ballas says that he can see potential. We’ll find out!

That wraps up my Dancing review…I have now displayed to my blogger friends what a DWTS geek I truly am! Do any of you watch this show as religiously as I do? If I have a few followers that do I will continue my reviews of each show.
Have a fantastic Tuesday everyone!
