That is why, as a fan of Sex and the City, I found myself amerced in not only the fabulous fashion but also the decor of each of the 4 ladies apartments.
I figured it would be fun to pick my favorite parts of each of the girls living spaces. So grab a Cosmo and reminisce with me. And of course I'd love to hear your favorite parts of the SATC apartments!
Miranda-
Miranda's apartment offered the sleek lines and polished looked of a busy professional lady. She did add a few feminine personal touches, like her bedding which was purple for much of the show. And I always loved the shattered sun mirror above her fireplace.
Samantha-
Samantha's apartment combined soft tones of teal and chocolate with bold splashes of red. I especially lusted over her fabulous kitchen...who wouldn't want to enjoy a drink here? I also love the little candles placed above her fireplace. It really sets off a sensual vibe.
Charlotte-
I always had a thing for Charlotte's desk. It was impossibly neat and feminine...so Charlotte! In addition to her cute little desk I always marveled at how chic she made wallpaper look. I am not a huge fan of wallpaper but one look at Charlotte's place could change my mind in a heart beat.
Carrie-
Carries apartment was unique to the others in that it was most certainly more lived in. It had a bohemian vibe to it, which perfectly mimicked Carries care free personality. Although I'm not a big fan of the rug, I always loved looking at Carries bedroom because it felt like you were actually taking a glance into her world. The same goes for Carries closet, which was fittingly the center of her apartment. What lady can't confess to loving that?
of the four you shared, I love Carrie's room the most, and the closet, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love samanthats kitchen!!! LOVE IT! I was never a fan of charolettes taste though. And seriously, i think I would sleep in carries closet. It's a girls dream. Omg, especially that closet she gets when she moves in with Mr. Big in the move. Ugh, DIE!
